‘Have You Heard?’ - the title for the new album from Church of Christ the King, Brighton has a hint of playfulness about its title. How come? Well, considering that the church was founded by Terry Virgo, is the hub of the Newfrontiers movement and home to worship leaders such as Stuart Townend, Lou Fellingham and Phatfish, Paul Oakley and Simon Brading, there’s a very good chance that whatever the church turns its hand too will get noticed the world over.

But ‘Have You Heard’ deserves to be heard not just because of its pedigree. The songs themselves are as strong a collection as you could ever hope to find. Add to that the fact that such range, urgency and the depth of content have all come from one church, and it begins to be clear why their influence has spread so far and wide.
