Adrian Holloway Bio
Adrian Holloway was a newspaper football and feature writer for The Times. He then worked for the BBC as a radio reporter before spending two years as a TV sports presenter.
“I used to tell people about football, now I tell people about Christ! I mean, when I was a TV presenter, I told my mates about God’s love whenever I could, but I was actually being paid to tell the public about goals and groin strains! And that took up most of my time! In the end, I believe God called me to spend all my time telling people about Jesus instead. So I quit.”
Adrian gave up his media career to work full time for Reigate & Redhill Community Church, which is part of the NewFrontiers team of churches and later moved to Birmingham to work for the Oasis Church. In 2004 he moved to London with his wife Julia and two daughters Esther and Bethany to join Christ Church where he spends much of his time helping the Newfrontiers family and assists David Stroud in his wider role within Newfrontiers.
Adrian is the author of the best selling book ‘The Shock Of Your Life’ and it’s sequel ‘Aftershock’. Released on both sides of the Atlantic and around the world in English, ‘The Shock Of Your Life’ has already been translated into German, Dutch, Norwegian, French, Indonesian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, and Swedish.
