Biographies
Graham Kendrick
Graham has been described as a ‘father of modern worship music’ whose songs are ‘crammed full of poetic, divine, biblical truth’ that have ‘sculpted a view of God that has impacted generations.’ For more than 30 years he has been at the forefront of Christian music in the UK having written and recorded hundreds of songs, many of which are well known around the world, including Shine Jesus Shine, Knowing You, The Servant King, and Amazing Love. Graham is based in the UK and travels internationally participating in tours, festivals, conferences and training events, as a worship leader, speaker and performer.
Doug Williams Doug used to be in top gospel band Paradise who had a top 30 chart hit, and he was renowned for his afro! He was converted to Christ in 1978. He quickly became actively involved in children’s and youth ministry for a group of local churches. Doug spent over 12 years in church-planting and pastoral work in South London, with national and international speaking appointments. He has a burden for the whole body of Christ and travels internationally to the USA, Africa, India and the Caribbean speaking at pastor’s conferences and local church teaching seminars. Doug is part of the National Assemblies of God General Superintendency team that is leading the AOG forward.
Stuart Townend
Stuart started learning to play the piano at the age of 7. At 13, he made a Christian commitment, and after studying Literature at the University of Essex, began songwriting at age 22. Stuart is one of todays great hymn writers with songs such as In Christ Alone, How Deep The Father's Love, Beautiful Saviour and The Power Of The Cross. His recent album There Is A Hope was recorded live in Northern Ireland and has an unmistakable Celtic influence. Stuart travels extensively, leading worship and teaching at churches and events around the world.
Lou Fellingham
Lou has been lead singer of Phatfish for the last 14 years and has also served as part of the worship team at Stoneleigh Bible weeks. Her heart for people and her love of worshipping God are prominent in both the lyrics of the songs she sings and in her delivery of them. Her latest album Promised Land has been seen as the some of best work to date.
Phatfish
Phatfish are a band dedicated to serving God and seeing His presence made tangible.
Since their formation in 1994 the band have played hundreds of shows, sold tens of thousands of albums and led many thousands in worship across different continents. Throughout all, the vision to see Jesus glorified in the hearts of men and women has remained.
Aaron Keyes
Aaron Keyes began leading worship in the summer of 1998 in California. After finishing college he worked as a worship pastor in several churches. In 2003 he relocated to Lawrenceville, Georgia, where he began working as the worship pastor at Grace Fellowship Church, where he's still leading worship and mentoring younger worship leaders. His passion is for the body of Christ to come together in Biblical praise. His debut Kingsway Music album Not Guilty Anymore comes highly recommended.
Godfrey Birtill
Godfrey was a press photographer for 20 years. Then from 1997, after receiving a fresh impartation in songwriting, worship and intercession, he began to be invited to city prayer gatherings first in the UK then internationally. The inspiration for many of his songs comes during city prayer gatherings and by hearing prophetic preaching. Godfrey has a growing national and international ministry, leading worship and teaching in workshops on Song and Intercession. Many of his songs like, Outrageous Grace, and When I Look At The Blood, have a prophetic edge to them. Check out his new album R U READY? Recorded live in Nashville.
Liz Babbs
Liz is an award-winning international author, performer, broadcaster, spiritual director and creative evangelist. She is the author of 9 books and 4 CDs including Immerse - prayer and worship album (Kingsway Music 2007), and has a passion for intimacy with God and loves working ‘live’ with musicians using meditation as an integral part of worship, to take people deeper into God’s presence.
Dave Roberts
Dave has been involved in worship seminars for over 25 years. He is a local church pastor and a prolific writer. He is the co-writer of the best selling Red Moon Rising - the story of 24-7 prayer, and his latest projects include Jesus The Worshipper, and Heaven On Earth:Living In His Presence, a book about the miracles at a Welsh prayer centre.
Chris McClarney
Chris has been leading worship for about 15 years. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Jasmine, and two small daughters, and has been the worship pastor of "Grace Center" church in Franklin for the last six years. He describes his worship style as simple, happy, and intimate, and just can't stop writing about the love of God. His first worship CD Love Never Fails has just been released, don’t miss it!
Ben Cantelon
Ben is the latest young worship leader to emerge from the Soul Survivor event and follows in the footsteps of Matt Redman and Tim Hughes, whilst bringing a different sound and a distinctive voice to the celebrations that he leads.

Eoghan Heaslip
Currently Director of Worship for New Wine UK and worship leader at St. Paul's Ealing, London, Eoghan has a heart to resource churches in worship and help congregations discover the presence of God when they gather.
Andrew Wilson
Andrew is the Director and Lead Teacher of Impact, a Newfrontiers church-based course in introductory level theology. he is the author of "Deluded By Dawkins" and the highly spoken of "Incomparable", which examines God's character through his 60 Biblical names.
Dave Fellingham
Dave brought orchestras to contemporary worship in the UK. He returns to the Eastbourne worship conferences to help us rediscover the joys of the well-crafted song arrangement and the diversity of musical expression that God blesses.
Mike Pilavachi
Mike Pilavachi is the founder and pastor of Soul Survivor Church in Watford. He is also the leader and founder of Soul Survivor, a youth organization seeking to reach, disciple, equip and empower young people to make a difference in their generation. His heart is to reach them with dynamic worship, life-changing ministry and relevant evangelism. He is also an author and an international speaker.
Miriam Webster
Miriam is an Australian gospel singer-songwriter. Her career began at the age of 15, when she won the interstate music awards, and she has since toured Australia, New Zealand and the United States, releasing several albums along the way. Having served with the Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia for many years, she is now based in Nashville, America and 2009 will see her first album with Kingsway Music.
Ishmael
Ishmael has worked for nearly 40 years in the Christian music ministry, moving from varying music styles to recently concentrating on children’s songs and music for all age services. He has recorded over 40 albums and written many books but will probably be most recognised for writing Father God I Wonder. Ishmael is an ordained Missioner / Evangelist Deacon at Chichester Cathedral.
Bob Hartman
Bob is currently the senior minister of Emmanuel Christian Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has also been a professional storyteller for over 20 years. Bob was a storyteller in residence for The Pittsburgh Children’s Museum and has also travelled widely, telling stories at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, The Somerset Festival (Australia), Expo 2005 (Japan), Spring Harvest and The Greenbelt Festival (England), Beyond Words (Jordan and Dubai), just to name a few. Bob is also the author of over fifty books for children, including the best-selling ‘Lion Storyteller Bible’. Some of his other titles include: ‘Angels, Angels All Around’, ‘Best Mates’, ‘The Wolf Who Cried Boy’, ‘Telling the Bible’, ‘Anyone Can Tell a Story’, a training manual for storytellers, and ‘All-Age Worship’, an all-singing, all-dancing, all-through-the-Bible, intergenerational collection of story-based worship services.
Tim Steward
Tim was born in 1975 and works as a full time artist in Oxford. He is largely self taught and is currently resident in the Ark-T, a community arts project based in Cowley. His work specifically seeks to capture a sense of the spiritual. Tim has exhibited the last couple of years at Mission:Worship and this year sees him leading a seminar on 'The visual arts in worship - imagery, emotion and Word'.
Nivea Soares
Nivea has been involved with Christian music since she gave her life to Christ at the age of 11. In 1998 she became part of Diante do Trono ministries, the most important worship ministry in Brazil, described as one of the ministries that brought a deep revolution on Brazilian worship music. She now leads with her husband Gustavo Soares, Nivea Soares Ministries. Their events all over Brazil are focused on the young generation of Brazilians, where they lead thousands to worship the Lord. Nivea will make a guest appearance at this years Mission:Worship.

Ken Lewis
Ken currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been a session and touring drummer on countless gold and platinum Grammy Award-winning albums with artists such as, The Temptations, Carly Simon, Phil Keaggy, Ben Folds, Marc Broussard, Duane Eddy, Cliff Richard, Sixpence None The Richer, Amy Grant, Vince Gill and BT. In addition, Ken has worked on many film/documentary soundtracks and television show scores. We welcome him to Mission:Worship for the first time.

Andy Chamberlain
Andy is the co-founder of Musicademy. He presents their Worship Guitar DVD Courses and is creator and director for the rest of the range. For many years Andy was involved with the Soul Survivor movement playing guitar for worship leaders including Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Martyn Layzell, Vicky Beeching and others. He continues to teach both rock & pop and worship guitar.

Darren Moan
Darren is a Belfast born fingerstlye acoustic guitar maestro who's music has touched and amazed people from all over the World. He has gained praise and acknowledgment for his guitar playing from guitar legends such as Phil Keaggy, Tommy Emmanuel and Roby Duke.
Being the founder of Trinity Guitar School Darren has also taught and helped develop the guitar skills of countless students, Pastors, Praise & Worship Leaders and Band members from all around the globe. As a Committed Christian Darren believes that playing the guitar is what God wants him to do, and say's "I'm not complaining", Oh and he also say's "Avalon guitars rock"
Acoustic Arrangements
Acoustic Arrangements was established in 1994 and has many years of experience working with all forms of presentation technology within a diverse range of environments. It is one of the leading and most recognized suppliers and installers to the church market today. Acoustic Arrangements will lead our PA seminars.
Rend Collective Experiment
Northern Ireland’s Rend Collective Experiment are not so much a band, more a bunch of 15 friends collectively wondering how to make sense of the conundrum of life, God and community. An audio landscape reflecting the sounds of Elbow and Snow Patrol to Surfjan Stevens and Fleet Foxes with lyrics that are both scriptural and contemporary, fresh and ancient. Tony Campolo said this of the band “If you are committed to seeing something of the Kingdom of God made real in our world, this music will go a long way to encourage you.”
Debut album The Organic Family Hymnal is due for release 18th January 2010.
John Hartley
John Hartley is an Englishman living in Nashville, Tennessee. He's a songwriter, producer and works with Kingsway doing A&R with their worship leaders in the US. John has produced over 50 albums in the 12 years since moving to the States, and has had over 225 songs published by various worship leaders and artists. He started out in music as part of the duo Phil & John.
