In the late sixties, in a season when young people were turning to Jesus en masse and beginning to express their faith in the musical idiom of the day, Kingsway was launched as the pioneer CCM label in the UK, enjoying global chart success with its first ever release.
In the mid seventies, as the face of the church began to change and this generation of believers started gathering in newly formed 'house churches', Kingsway again forged new ground by capturing the emerging worship sound and songs on tape.

After years of excavating these kingdom jewels and watching them carve out a niche for themselves in the church worldwide, Kingsway remains at the forefront of worship music ñ continually exploring for fresh creativity in youth culture, prophesying the link between worship and mission, and expanding its mainstay of songs that are rich in theology and poetry, the hymns of the future.
